Here's a brief run down of my musical career so far,
I started playing drums and
guitar at a very early age, then went to live
in Australia. I joined my first band playing drums at age 13, then had a charted
record with a band called 'Fatty Lumpkin' age 15.
After a few years I returned
to England and formed my own band called 'Lifeline'
signed to RCA records but after two years the band split
so I continued
performing including sessions for 'Sparks' and Bryan Ferry, and writing my
own material on guitar. After working with Elvis Costello's band the 'Attractions'
on various projects, I joined the
'Hall of Fame' tribute show touring the UK and Europe,
playing guitar and vocals.
The 'Hall of Fame' led to my current tribute act 'The Boss' which I have performed in various theatre's and have since been voted Europe's 'No1 Springsteen tribute artist.
A cd entitled "Brilliant Disguise" will be available at all TAZ gigs from December.
My influences include 'Elvis Presley, The Beatles, and Bruce Springsteen and I have brought that influence to all my work, including the Rock Covers Band 'TAZ.
